There's plenty of room for clothes and gear in the large main compartment, which offers top and bottom access. You can also store smaller gear in the variety of accessory pockets, which include two large side zippered pockets, two front zippered pockets, two side stretch pockets (ideal for water bottles), and a top lid pocket for items like a compass, maps, or raingear. And hikers have the option of storing a sleeping bag inside the separate sleeping bag compartment, which includes a detachable divider, or outside the bag via a series of straps.
